The plaque is fabulous! 

Thank you so much Ben.  In fact it is even better than we had hoped.  It arrived in time for the opening ceremony yesterday evening and was proudly displayed in the atrium.  We will shortly be installing it permanently and I'll send you a photo.

For WSD 2013 (World Stage Design) we were looking for a local Welsh Craftsman to create custom slate awards for this very special exhibition, and Ben at 'The Slate Workshop' proved to be an excellent choice. He was extremely accommodating to our needs for the exhibition awards. He listened to our ideas, made recommendations, and skillfully executed the awards; making adjustments until we were satisfied with the style and appearance, and he worked efficiently to get the job done. In the end we were very proud to present these truly Welsh awards to the International Exhibitors of theatre design that came to Cardiff to celebrate and exhibit at WSD 2013.   -

I received the nameplate today and it's exactly what I was looking for. If I had seen a load of nameplates together and had to choose one then that would have been it, perfect for what I wanted. My wife didn't know it was going to be in Gaelic so she was equally pleased when she saw it. Thanks very much for your patience, think I changed my mind a few times but glad we got there in the end. We ordered a slate plaque for our daughter's wedding but instead of the standard lettering we wanted the lettering that our daughter has had on all the other wedding invites etc.  We sent a copy to Ben and he did a brilliant job with the intricate pattern of letters and a pear shaped design.  The finished plaque was just as we had imagined.  We can certainly recommend your work.
