Curving abstract Slate Sculpture
At the Slate Workshop in Pembrokeshire, Richard Boultbee sculpts Welsh slate into wonderful curving abstract shapes. Some are reminiscent of birds or animals, some completely abstract but all are wonderfully tactile- many have been bought to enjoy the sensation of stroking the silky smooth surface. Slate Garden sculpture in Colby Lodge Gardens
He has slate sculpture in various gardens and homes, both in this country and abroad. These days he is not producing large garden sculpture, although one of his garden pieces is to be seen at Colby Lodge Gardens .(N.T. Property) near Amroth, in Pembrokeshire.
Commission
There are usually one or two pieces of small sculpture in the showroom at The Slate Workshop,
but most of his sculpture, including his ever popular owls, are now to commission only.
Prices
Prices for sculptures depend on size and complexity.
We like to work closely with our clients- each piece is treated individually - so we don’t have standardised order forms.
